I needed a cleaner setup to stream music from my smartphone to my 2009 Honda Civic. Since my Civic has an accessory jack, the Firefly seemed like the perfect device. It really was the perfect solution for the first few weeks of use. The sound coming from this USB Bluetooth adapter was clear and loud. It connected to my phone as soon as the car started. Unfortunately, on inexplicable occasions, Firefly clipped a stereo channel and replaced it with an unbearable hiss and buzz. I tried resetting the USB stick to fix the problem but to no avail. Sometimes putting the transmission in park mode solved this problem, but this solution was inconsistent and impractical. I bought a ground loop isolator but that didn't help. I ended up replacing the Firefly with an Anker Bluetooth adapter which, while less elegant with ugly cables, was much more reliable.
