I bought this to hook the turtle habitat side. I needed something with a wide and strong clip. Connected perfectly. I replaced the lightbulb with a ceramic heating pad that doesn't emit any light. I also hooked up a thermostat. The thermostat was set at 75*F, every time the temp dropped below 75 it had to turn on. I kept noticing that it wasn't happening at the desired time. Finally screwed the bulb back in, nothing, removed the thermostat, still nothing. The bracket is dead. I had two days. Maybe the thermostat was too much for him or the ceramic light bulb? In any case, I was not satisfied with the product, except for the clip, which held up very well. I got it in 2 days :o)
