Review on πŸ”’ Enhanced Belkin Secure and Charge: Lockable USB Classroom Charging Station for Laptops and Tablets (Model B2B163) by Drew Panah

Transformers are so big that they don't fit in the charging station

Not suitable for Chromebook! The power cords for all my chrome books are AC cords that go to transformers and then to smaller cords that connect to a charger. The transformers are so big that they don't fit in the charging station. I could only put 6 chrome books on each of the charging stations if I didn't want all the transformers hanging down the back and the cable jungle hanging down the back. As a homeroom teacher, spending hours fitting this EXPENSIVE piece of plastic with a built in extension cord has been a disappointing use of my time. Once I customize the blocks to my needs, they serve their purpose. However, I wouldn't recommend devices for storing and organizing Chromebooks. I had to buy milk crates and go that route. I could make memory blocks in less time and at a lower cost!

Pros
  • USB-powered Delivery technology rated and delivers optimal power requirements
Cons
  • Large and bulky
