I bought these to replace a cheap pair I used to buy thinking there can't be much difference between cheap shears and expensive shears. boy was i wrong! The ancients clasped their hands when they cut something thick. So go ahead with those. More expensive than I wanted to spend but I wanted a good pair. I love it! They are very thick but not too heavy. They cut very well. They can be disassembled for easy cleaning. If I had something to criticize, it would only be that the blades could be a bit longer. But then again, they're still beautiful just the way they are. I'm glad I invested in them. You won't need another pair for a long time.
