This should have been perfect for my needs. It's just the right size for my kitchen utensils in our class B motorhome. It fits exactly where I wanted it, between the stove and the wall. But and that's the reason for the one star rating, IT sucks nothing. I've tried it on the counter, the smooth Formica countertop in my apartment, and on my stainless steel stovetop. There is no texture in any of the spots and none of them would hold it. 8f suction will work, it will be 5 but it will not stick at all. I attach it in the corner with 2 comand strips, they hold up great but I don't have to fiddle with the new piece.
