Tested the product on 4 different types of surfaces and it didn't stick and was willing to return it. The mount is in 3 parts and unscrews at the base (it comes apart very easily) but I pressed down on the suction cup, it stuck and held well, then I unscrewed it again without the middle section. Works great I know

I thought it would work well in our caravan's kitchen but not so much. The suction cup idea sounds great, but unfortunately the laminate in our kitchen has little texture and it didn't hold onto the suction cup. It comes with a small round adhesive disc so you can stick it permanently and it stays in place.

Won't stick to the perfectly clean countertop in my RV. Maybe there's a little texture or something because it won't stick to the counter. However, it seems to stick well to very smooth surfaces like glass. Abuse as I think something like this is for a counter or table and it doesn't work. I have already disposed of the packaging, so I cannot return it.

Bought two of these for a camper drip kitchen. One worked great and still works. One didn't have good suction, but I found that if I pushed hard and twisted all the way, it worked great on the other. The second screw broke while tightening. No repair. Back too much trouble for the price paid. I think this one was defective as the others are still working properly. Attention buyers, not all are of the same quality.

Where were 2.5 years back then A word of warning, if it gets crowded, STOP! Don't think you can make it harder. This guy is amazing, he tidies the drawer in a way that's easy to grab. A simple idea well done but just don't try to be a real man. I use it in my RV, full time, and we're moving all the time. He came off 1 time, fell, but that's it. I also had a heavy scraper upside down. It stays where it was placed.

10/23/21 I withdraw my previous rating. I can't get it to stick to the top of my RV. I really tried because it would be great to have it. Don't buy until Camco fixes this! Before: As others have posted, it doesn't seem to stick to kitchen countertop surfaces. Nevertheless, the idea is great. Another user removed the middle plastic pad on the bottom (unscrew the suction cup and then remove this part). At first it seemed sticky. I'll have to see if it sticks while driving. -> see above. Fail

This should have been perfect for my needs. It's just the right size for my kitchen utensils in our class B motorhome. It fits exactly where I wanted it, between the stove and the wall. But and that's the reason for the one star rating, IT sucks nothing. I've tried it on the counter, the smooth Formica countertop in my apartment, and on my stainless steel stovetop. There is no texture in any of the spots and none of them would hold it. 8f suction will work, it will be 5 but it will not stick at
