UPDATE: I needed to enlarge my solar system a bit and sold this inverter to a neighbor. He has a few machines in his garage and he says they work well. I bought this inverter to replace the one that blew up on mine. I have an inverter connected to a pair of 35Ah AGM Harbor Freight solar panels. Batteries are supported by 50W solar power. The system is in a small shed. Where I live it is very hot in summer and cold in winter. So far, the inverter has not missed a beat. I haven't gotten to 1500 watts yet. The batteries I have now won't thank me for using so much power all at once. My plan for the inverter is to fit it into a larger shed with a lot more solar and battery capacity. By that time I will have a 24/7 inverter. This will be a real test. At the moment I'm running my treble saw, charging power packs, batteries, etc. I've had no problems with the inverter. The only thing I don't like is the software switching. It can be tricky. I would prefer a normal hard switch. No deal breaker. I'll update this review once I've worked continuously for a few weeks. This will be a real test.
