These water shoes are comfortable both in the sea and on land. I've worn these water shoes to and from the beach and in between in the water. They were still comfortable after seawater and sand entered them. They were stiff enough to protect my feet from the sharp rocks in the ocean but not as hard and difficult to take off as the others. They fit me perfectly and I usually wear the larger sizes. I'm glad I ordered them for my vacation.
