Bought used, almost new. Very nice little unit. Crystal clear recording quality.! It used to have a Radio Shack microcassette unit, and the Olympus is about 20 times better in sound quality. Amazing clarity (I work in a home recording studio so I can appreciate the recording quality this unit produces). My device didn't come with an instruction manual, but I had no trouble getting used to it. Since it has an LCD display (instead of LED), the battery life is really good. Requires 2 AAA batteries. Plus, it's so pocket-friendly. If you need to record in stealth mode, this is your recorder. I'm not disappointed. Signature, vegetarian pimp
