I was so hesitant about buying this because I didn't want it to look wavy or slip everywhere or my good coffee table to just look cheap and crappy. But since it was a very porous wooden coffee table and my friend and I ate on it constantly, I knew it was going to break quickly and this piece of plastic was the perfect solution! It reminds me of those thick see-through tablecloths that don't hang around the edges and detract from the look of a beautiful table. It's not perfect, and it definitely doesn't look as pretty as a piece of custom glass, but it doesn't come close to matching its price either. And it's perfect for everyday eating, drinking, and without worrying about wood stains or warping. Very easy to wash and just as easy to roll up and put away when company arrives and you want to put it away (personally I think it looks good enough not to bother). The measurements aren't perfect, it protrudes a little on each side which you can trim if you want it perfect, but I didn't find it necessary to do so. This is not a fashionable specialty glass. This is the solution for dirty fingers, crumbs, blobs, kids and boys ;)
