I ordered this battery powered desktop fan primarily for camping in my RV. However after using it for a while I will keep it at home as well because it will be SO useful. It expresses a good volume of air and is very similar to a very good 110 mesh fan. I had the same style a few years ago but without the battery. It's also very quiet, even at high power. The light function is nice. It has three tiers and is perfect for things like working with vehicles while still keeping your cool. In addition, to get to your campsite while providing light and cool air. You can also use it to charge your cell phone. I tested it by running it on low for 3 hours and then on high for the rest of the time and I got just under six hours total on the charge it arrived with. . When I received it it showed a full charge and now I've charged it and it works when charged. in the garage, just unplug it and use it wherever you need it. The construction is very solid, with a tubular metal stand, and the plastic fan housing, handle, and knobs feel like a very durable type of plastic. I was curious if it needs to be disassembled to clean the fan blades, so I unscrewed the six small Phillips head screws on the back and the front actually came off. You just have to be careful with the light wire that's on the right side when you look at it. It has a small quick connector, but I left it plugged in for now. The unit can also be wall mounted or hung using the plastic hook provided. The charger outputs 12 volts DC and it would be nice if it had a USB charging cable, but it just won't work with a 12 volt battery. The device also has very soft protective feet on the stand, so it will not damage furniture. So I am very satisfied with the device and find the asking price reasonable for a battery-powered fan of this size and quality.
