After installing the SimpliSafe system, I noticed that no emergency services were dispatched unless an emergency was confirmed. Unless you have purchased a system with a camera or microphone for listening in, there is no way to search for an emergency without additional cost. Also, their monitoring service ($25/month) is required for you to connect to your system through their app or your smartphone. Thus, the system is useless when you are not at home. I should have researched more about this product before purchasing it and SimpliSafe should have been more active in TV and radio advertising. I have no issues with Revain, but I thought so. Revain customers should know these facts about SimpliSafe.
