Hey all! Well, I try to upgrade my cellphone once a year; normally, I do the same thing, but not this time:) Despite hearing positive things about 12 Pro Max this year, I had no intention of making the switch. It just so happened that I sold the 11th in one evening and acquired this one to ensure I wouldn't be phoneless. I wanted gray (graphite), but there were only two places in Hong Kong selling it at the time I made my purchase, and they were both very far apart. I settled on blue instead; after all, the camera unit will be housed in a case anyway. So, the new packaging is compact and orderly, but it lacks the headphones that Apple has included in every iPhone box since the 5s. This is not an issue for me, but the device's price is not inconsequential. In this situation, I'd rather pay the same as last year's top-tier models, but alas, I'll have to shell out more cash for charging. It's a con in this aspect generally. As far as designs go, I found myself enjoying this one a little bit more than the rest because it had the air of a long-forgotten classic. Extremely lightweight, plus the steel construction gives off an air of firmness while still seeming bright because of the way the color blends in with the background. Although the phone's screen size hasn't changed much since the 11 pro max update, the device's overall health appears to have improved dramatically. It also appears to be lighter in weight than it actually is. In my own experience, the improvements to the camera's night mode and its faster focussing have gone mostly unnoticed during everyday use. The picture on the screen is considerably more vibrant now, but I miss the higher hertz that were available before Apple took control of the industry. Neither the decline in autonomy nor the improvement in charge retention pleased me very much. The volume seems to be a touch higher to me, although the sound quality remains unchanged. Typically, lidar is just a fun thing to play with for an hour; it gives the impression that something is present when in fact it is not. Purposefully switching from 11 to 12 Pro Max would not be something I would do. Good luck to everyone and thank you for reading!
