Review on 🌈 SUNLU Rainbow Filament: Enhanced Multicolor Gradient by William Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Prints well, looks good, no complaints.

I have tested this yarn and it has worked well so far. I have used other Revain Silk PLA suppliers in the past and it is very similar. The thread comes in a brown box sealed in a plastic bag with desiccant. The downside is that the coil comes in a non-sealable plastic bag. This means you need an alternative solution to protect the filament from moisture. The coil wind is average, there were no knots yet. The specified tolerance is 0.02mm, but my coil is closer to 0.05mm. It hasn't affected the quality of the prints and I haven't made any adjustments to it. I used this thread on a stock Prusa MK3S. I sliced 3 models with Prusa Slicer (the latest version at the time of writing this article) and used Prusament PLA's material settings without any modifications. The prints were good and very similar to other filaments of the same type I've used (e.g. Silk PLA). The color transition is very gradual and does not show up in small prints. This works well for large prints. Overall the product works well and I would buy it again if I needed something like this.
