Review on πŸŒ€ Lasko High Velocity Pro-Performance Pivoting Utility Fan: Versatile Cooling, Ventilation, Exhaust & Drying for Home, Job Site & Work Shop - Black Grey U15617 by Kim Evans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more side blocks for YAY forks and derailleurs!

I had their previous blowers and didn't like that they covered one side with connectors and a control switch. Well it seems they finally realized their mistake and you have this wonderful model. Airflow isn't much faster, but it's noticeable. Now the only thing that worries me is that they restrict movement. The old models went in circles. Sure, they're stuck on the same leg, but at least it's spinning in circles. This one turns all the way back to blow horizontally backwards, but the downward turn stops at about 45Β° and it no longer blows directly into the front leg, but to be honest this is negligible. I have used them from time to time for an air curtain over a door. But for better airflow I accept this slight caveat. The noise produced at low revs is just as loud as any previous model, so don't expect it to be quiet. If you are new to this fan, expect it to be as loud at low frequencies as the box fan at high frequencies, at a different frequency of course. Since it's plastic, you shouldn't drop it as it will most likely break. My others were pretty solid and fell really hard a couple of times but survived. Sorry I won't drop my review for you ;) Bottom line, if you want a powerful fan that you can feel from 20 feet away and that plugs in (music of course) then this is the absolute champ. Thanks to Lasko for another improved design fan.

Pros
  • REALLY SPACE SAVING. With a footprint of 11.3 x 14.5 inches and a height of only 14.5 inches, this fan is slightly larger than a standard milk crate. The 10-foot power cord and large, comfortable handle make it easy to place where you need it. The robust design fits easily into small spaces where air circulation is required.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
