I bought instead of the one that came with my light bar from the same manufacturer. The original HF sensor was damaged by me and had to be replaced. ADVANTAGES: The remote control is larger with more pre-programmed functions. CONS: It has a socket. just like my light stripe. I had to splice and solder wires, which worked for several hours and then stopped. I can't say why, but it would be nice to have a male-to-male connection just in case. I would only recommend if you have extra connectors handy as the wires are too thin to get a solid connection when soldering.
