Review on Deuter Speed Ultralight Daypack Petrol Arctic: Lightweight and Stylish Outdoor Companion by Aaron Moore

I bought this backpack because my previous Columbia backpack was too big and didn't fit. This is a great little backpack for very light loads for hiking or trail running. It's really a glorified hydration pack and not a real backpack, but it works for me when I take it. I also have a Deuter ACT Lite backpack and am having trouble with both in the side pocket department. The side pockets are so high on the pack that you have to unbuckle the shoulder straps to access everything inside. It's probably a German engineering thing. It's fine with this tiny backpack, but on a 40-pound hike it can be difficult to loosen the load to get to the contents of the side pocket.
