These markers have a simple and direct meaning. And the signs are a perfect set of red, black and white - the sign looks and 'is' official. Also, they are an ideal size to be seen but not too big for our hallways. "No Smoking" signs are likely to be posted in our condo's stairwells, garages, and other places where people actually smoke, preventing others from using the stairs (which also double as a fire escape!). When they arrived (which was the next day) I installed them and they held up perfectly on drywall, painted walls and one on the 'fire' door in the hallway (unfortunately had to be installed on one of our newly painted doors). The opening days will show whether the signs will stay in place or can be easily destroyed. -OR- simply for the perpetrator or perpetrators, who can simply pull them off and throw them away. They're pretty great at the moment and just what we need as a board; This way we don't have to drive metal plates into the walls with nails. There were 4 of them in the package, I ordered two packs; We'll likely be ordering more after I've determined (as vice president of our community board) that the no smoking signs (a) stay in place and (b) appear to be respected. (If we need even bigger signs we will do that.) Thank you.
