Alloy Differential Cover Dana 30

The differential cover is made of solid cast iron and is designed for heavy-duty applications. I'm sure he'll take a direct shot at the lane and stay together. That said, there are a few complaints for the money spent, hence only three stars: (1) the screws are too soft and come with a Phillips head screwdriver, (2) when you tighten the included screws, they burn the paint down to the bare metal behind the bolt, and (3) the diff cover doesn't leak, but it doesn't fit perfectly on the Dana 30's face. I have about a 1/4" axle open on top and 1/8" on the bottom. You have to get under the jeep to see this but the cap doesn't fit the bearing.I bought a lubelocker with no RTV and no leaks.I recommend getting class 8 bolts with lock washers before installing.

Pros
  • Stamped Steel 3/8
Cons
  • Large and Bulky
