I saw a group of people teaching watercolor with this kind of brush on YouTube and I wanted to try it. I was glad it was synthetic, not only because natural brushes are so expensive, but I like synthetic brushes in general. Anyone who paints with watercolor or ink should have a brush like this - it simply does a lot of things that other brushes can't do, above all they hold a lot of color and are extremely expressive. If you're serious about improving your skills, that's great. Addendum: A month later I use an acrylic ink brush and forget to clean it. Then I take it and my heart skips a beat - I ruined it. I decided to wash it even though I was sure it was damaged. A little hand soap and a good rub and it's 100%. Wonderful.
