I was hoping for more from this brush. This is the most expensive brush I have, but it works just as well as other brushes that are half the price. I wanted the Dagger Brush to be able to use a thin tip and wide body to create interesting shapes, but it just seems to make a mess. Maybe I'm not good enough to use it.

I've been looking for the perfect brush for a long time - one that feels like an extension of my hand, holds up at the tip, has a large water capacity that doesn't spill all of it onto paper and feel right away smoothly on the paper. That's it! It even outperforms my expensive core sables. I have Casaneo #0, #2 and #4 nibs. Between these three I no longer need brushes and mostly use #0 and #2. I was excited to get these, especially since they were cheaper than some others I was looking at. However, they weren't worth the price. I received them in excellent condition with a good point. I have number 24 flat. This has got to be the best synthetic I've ever used. In search of the perfect synthetic hair that mimics real natural hair, there is no better solution than this brush. To some extent, it works better than its natural counterpart. Brushed hair feels the same as natural hair and many would be surprised if I told them otherwise. This is a nice and very soft brush, ideal for watercolor. I was originally sent a size 8 but sent it back with no problem for the correct size I ordered. Lies comfortably in the hand. The price-performance ratio is quite comparable. Holds an excellent amount of water and paint. I have used it several times. .
