This is a nice and very soft brush, ideal for watercolor. I was originally sent a size 8 but sent it back with no problem for the correct size I ordered. Lies comfortably in the hand. The price-performance ratio is quite comparable. Holds an excellent amount of water and paint. I have used it several times. . I really wanted a large round brush for different jobs and I gave it a go with this brush. My only complaint is about the tip. As expected, it fluffs up when it dries, most round brushes do not always retain their pointed shape when dry. However, it spreads too much when used wet on paper (even with the slightest pressure). I guess I might just have a heavy hand. or I could order a brush from the wrong series for my needs, which is entirely possible. But okay. It's a good synthetic brush so I'll save it and find a use for it. I didn't need a nib, they will do, I just need a large round brush with a nice tip that will hold the tip when it gets wet.
