UPDATE: 12-2019 Just received a replacement again. 3 notable changes: 1> HUGE price reduction from 220 to 174.00. Always pleased, especially considering of the lack of quality change 2> Replaced the gasket with a universal pattern with multiple holes as shown in the current images = more paper options 3> Replaced the "filter" to collect dust on the bag Worth noting that the rubber insert for the assembly is much easier to work on than the old machine handle clamp/latch.Also this rubber boot is perfect for the F@s tool vacuum hose connector which I've been using with these grinders for almost a decade.So if you're still on the fence are, the price is much nicer and I would conclude that the changes have made the device better than ever! on 2018. Brushes, pads replaced at regular intervals as expected. This eventually became unreliable in setting up orbit selection due to multiple falls and massive man hours. I bought "other" green materials only to find that their mills are really good at creating vortices. I used to like the 5" Bosch R/O grinders but wanted to cut down on the grinding time as 6" like these would work. It's the only one I've found that runs just as smoothly, leaves no frizz and still gives me the speed of a 6 inch grinder. So: durability = very, very good. Performance = Fine Finish User Comfort = Acceptable - Fairly smooth, moderate vibration I hope they keep making this model as I don't want to look for another car after all these years.
