Review on IRWIN Performance Slotted Screwdriver Keystone Tools & Equipment for Tire & Wheel Tools by Joe Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good all-purpose screwdriver. Good workmanship, good grip.

This is the latest version of Irwin's Productivity Series screwdrivers. It is similar to the TorqueZone line but with an improved rubber grip. The finish is good, it feels good in the hand as the parting line from the molding of the plastic part of the handle is not visible (if you've used a screwdriver with a cheap plastic handle you'll know what I mean). I like this recording very much. It has a hardened tip for durability and an 8mm hex on the shank for use with a wrench if you need a little extra torque. The tip type is marked on the end of the handle for easy identification if it's in your tool bag, a nice touch. It's a good tool that should serve the casual user for years with proper care, and for less than $10 it's good value for the money. When assembling a homeowner's tool kit, this is a good addition; This and #2 Phillips will cover most of your basic needs.
