I installed the Speed Y pipe, removed the cat and muffler on my V10 Excursion. It sounded like a screeching trumpet in WOT. I've watched ALL the exhaust videos on youtube and found no satisfaction. So I consulted with a friend who made exhausts and he recommended this muffler. That helped. No more hoarse or glassy sound. Softens without loss of performance.
