Review on The Wooden Wick Co. Crackling Wood Candle Wicks + Clips (25 Wicks, X-Large) for 100% Soy Wax: Premium Wood Candle Wicks for Candle Making by Gelin Battle

I really wanted to love these wicks. Some arrived broken but I assumed it was a shipping error. I decided to use them for my small candles. I made my batch, put the wicks back in place, poured in the wax and let it dry. These wicks will NOT burn. I've lit it again and again and it will burn for a few minutes and then go out. I lit a regular wax wick from another candle at the same time just to test the batch of wax and it still burns nicely. I don't understand what the problem is but for the price of these wicks I really expected better results. Very frustrating.
