Loads Windows 10 (S mode) quickly, about 25 seconds. Set the screen brightness to 75% and tilt it back a little more than usual to fix the blurry look. The battery life is about 7 hours. with occasional use. I disabled all unnecessary applications in the background in the settings. I'm not a fan of Windows 10's S mode, which restricts the user to apps from the Microsoft Store. You can switch to win. 10 home is free which doesn't require this limitation but I have a 250GB SSD in my device so I haven't switched and am trying to work with S mode, maybe I'll do that sometime in the future. I recommend this laptop for general home use, my only complaint is that the graphics could be better. Okay, I've been using this laptop for about 2 weeks now and would like to add that I switched it from Windows 10 S mode with no issues. There weren't any major issues or changes in the amount of space used on the 250GB hard drive, and it works well in Win 10 Standard (Home) mode, which is a free switch so it now accepts apps from outside the Windows Store will .
