Works great, your speaker is safe
I've been playing with this speaker mount for the past year and it's fantastic. Space is freed up in the cup holders and the loudspeaker does not have to be in the glove compartment. Holds up really well and I'm not a track/nancy track guy. I was very skeptical at first but I can assure you your speaker is going nowhere. Two helpful tips: If you turn off the speaker before a lap, remove it from the car. I almost forgot the speaker several times. First increase the speaker volume and adjust the volume with your phone. The strap can block the volume control.
