The thing does what it should. I have a JBL Charge 4 and it's not going anywhere. I chose a different location on my golf cart than other reviews to make the sound more central. Works perfectly.

Excellent way to fit the JBL Charge 3 to my new Boston Whaler. Being a new boat I didn't want to drill holes and mount a bracket, the Bushwhacker portable speaker mount works great. Holds tight and I can move it to any rail on the boat. The ideal solution.

Surprisingly only has one strap attached to the side of the speaker, but the attachment straps are too short to attach to anything larger than 3/4″. It's advertised for jbl foldable speakers, but you can't tighten the strap for a device without pressing the volume or play buttons in the same place. May fit other brands of speakers and certain mounting bars, but do not attempt to use them on a boat tee or quad bar. Unless you have a very small pipe diameter.

I hate writing bad reviews. I have a JBL 3, after getting my mount I took it to the golf course and the straps that attach it to the golf cart roof post are not long enough to get around the pole, not even close. I had to buy extra velcro to make it work. The strap that attaches the JBL 3 is quite long. I understand that there are different sizes of roof bars. I've been playing with this speaker mount for the past year and it's fantastic. Space is freed up in the cup holders and the loudspeaker does not have to be in the glove compartment.
