As a beginner, I don't want to spend a lot of money on a rowing board just to practice rowing and get used to it. This option is in an affordable price range for me. Its color attracts me the most. It's unique and looks like punk rock, which I like. Second, a wide board makes the board more durable when paddling. I still can't get up, so it's comfortable to sit with both feet on that wide board. Came with everything I need for my paddleboard but I use an electric pump instead of a manual. The board size fits my body well, 5'7 and 160 lbs. I can fit the whole family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers on the paddle as it has a max weight capacity of 450lbs. What I don't like is that it doesn't have D-ropes to attach the kayak seat, but I think I can hand-glue these D-ropes. I'm happy with it because not only does it meet my needs of needing a good board to train with, but it also stands out for its unique color.
