The remote programming guide for my 2003 Chevy Impala was ready, but no matter how hard I tried to program this fob, nothing worked. The manufacturer's website states that this can take up to 20 seconds. I pressed the lock and unlock buttons (about a minute) until the display said it was no longer in programming mode, there was no sound and the key fob never worked to open or lock the door. I opened the key fob to change the battery and it still didn't work. Some point out here on the manufacturer's site that there are helpful tips on what to do if it doesn't work, for my particular car there weren't any. Returning is easy, which is why this keychain will be returned to Revain's warehouse.
