This monitor is very good for productivity. The picture is very good, with no stuck or dead pixels, giving a good overall impression. Where it fails, there is a video. Connected via HDMI for non-computer video, has fairly severe tearing. At first I thought it was just my Fire TV, but I'm getting the same results from PS3. The bottom line is, if you're using this for productivity, it's a solid choice. Not so much for entertainment. It must be a 120Hz monitor. ***EDIT*** - This monitor seems to suffer when trying to send a progressive (1080p) signal to it. If I downscale the HDMI signal to 1080i, the tearing just goes away. Strange, but that's what I found. While I still say it should be a 120Hz monitor, I have to say that it's a winner in the long run. Still 4 stars, but a good monitor for the price.
