Review on 🎨 Emperor's Gold Acrylic Paint - DecoArt Dazzling Metallics, 2-Ounce by Shantel Griffin

Metallic White was my special poison. Came in a pack of two bottles, supposedly offered as some sort of cheap pack. The paint is also intended for airbrushing. Thinning to a smooth consistency with a flow aid is harder than I thought, which has never been a problem for me with other acrylic paints in the past. Once applied it cures fairly quickly (too quickly if you ask me) but after 48 hours dries to a layer that feels too soft leading to unintentional surface defects such as dents and other surface imperfections if the item has been straightened varnished and not touched with kid gloves. In my opinion this 'paint' can only be applied reasonably with a brush and even then it dries to a rather rough and physically blotchy finish. If you want that look, this product can meet your needs. However, if you want a smooth and even end product, this color is not for you. Return the remaining 1 3/4 bottles for a refund. Consider this a lesson learned. A star.
