Microphone not working for external components
The microphone input did not work on my desktop PC, I could not record any sound with it. I even tested it on the laptop I'm recording from and the level of the mic picking up my voice is lower than the default mic driver installed on my laptop. So this device does not work to record sound from your microphone. That's the only reason I bought this to record audio but it didn't work :(. I wouldn't buy it if that's your reason. The headphone jack worked and I could hear clearly.
