Review on MICHELIN Latitude Tour HP 265/65 R17 110 year old by Stanislaw Mirzalek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Three years ago, I purchased a Suzuki Grand Vitara. There was no problem with the manageability. After using it for just one year, I decided to sell the car along with the tires. The feeling I got was completely different after I bought Prado on precisely the same rubber (but, 265 mm wide and after 2-3 seasons of operation): the rubber was firm and tossed along the ruts, to the point where after a soft winter I didn't want to change my shoes back dreadfully. It is hard, however, not to mention the excellent resilience to wear; on the Prado, this model lasted until seasons 4 or 5. In general, people have contradictory reactions to it. On the first vehicle, I want to put five points for tires that are narrower and softer, and three points for tires that are wider and tougher. I would assign a score of four points as an overall average rating.

Pros
  • Very quiet, very comfortable, and it follows the track really well (with a wheel width of 225 mm!).
Cons
  • On the following vehicle, with a width of 265 millimeters and severe wear, the impression of the same model is completely different: the rubber was hard and hurled it strongly along the ruts.
