I have had this backpack for over a year now, and I have mixed feelings about it. A back pack at this price should be high enough quality that it would last me years. Unfortunately, this backpack has only been through light use and already has pulled strings and flayed edges (as you can see in the pictures). Not only that, but it really can't fit much inside of it. I can barely get a water bottle and a book to fit inside of the middle compartment comfortably. It just doesn't allow for any stretching. It also looks really awkward on me since I am quite small framed and this is relatively large looking on me.However, this morning I got hit by a car on my bike. I got thrown to the side and landed on my back. I was wearing this exact backpack, with my laptop and other electronic things inside. This backpack was so thick that it stopped me from hitting my head on the ground and prevented any serious damage to me. Not only this, but my laptop is perfectly fine. NOT ONLY THAT, but the backpack has barely any damage from the accident. Which begs the question of why normal use damages it but slamming into concrete does not?. (note that all pictures were taken before the accident)Does it look good? No. Does normal wear and tear happen quickly? Yes. But it did protect me and my laptop far better than I would ever have expected, so I will most likely use this until it literally falls a part.
