GOOD AIRFLOW / SOFT MATERIAL
The paddle is only used for testing purposes on an SB 350 mounted on a special stand. When stationary, it provides sufficient airflow to maintain the proper coolant temperature. The 18" size is ideal for this as it doesn't interfere with other parts. The plastic is a bit soft though, the screws will dig in when tightened which can eventually lead to a crack which can cause the fan to fail.
