For the price you get what you pay for.
Don't expect tight tolerances. You get what you pay for. I think I spoiled my real ViseGrip pliers, so the loose tolerances bother me. Crooked jaws can either help or hinder your situation; Since you are stuck at a certain angle when using it, your hands may be injured due to unfavorable angles. You must return the clamp to its original position when reusing the old hose. I think it would be better if they gave them a straight jaw? For the most part, they're great for most small wire clamps; Once the clamps get larger than 3 inches, the heavier/heavier wire makes these pliers very difficult to use as there is simply no leverage due to the small size of the pliers.
