I had two changing pads but one day my child got them both dirty within 10 minutes so we had until next wash day (ie through the day) and I decided that we needed a third just in case. I don't know why, but the word "plush" never really caught my eye, so when it arrived I noticed that it looked like a stuffed animal and was vaguely surprised; a little fluffy and super soft. I don't mind, and it was a nice, muted green (or sage green, I think). I guess my only concern is that the fur might (?) pack a little quicker, but that didn't matter as we changed the pillowcases daily.
