Honest Communication. Fast delivery. Easy setting. So far, so good!

I actually wrote a review commending the people at this company for being honest and NOT trying to sell me any of these (based on our specific situation) when I read some before Time called to find out more (we are mostly just boaters, our boat is moored with shore power year round and at the time I asked about 8.3 watts). is a fan of solar energy and is off the grid. Even though our power needs are minimal and infrequent for a night or two camping on a boat and we have access to shore power the rest of the time, he thinks the sun should support our small group of 24.79Ah AGM batteries. get over it (especially since we live in an area with lots of sun) and don't worry about relying on shore power except to plug in power tools and the like. He liked that this product didn't require a regulator and also agreed with Rich at ITC that the 8.3 watt battery might charge too slowly for our needs if we were camping for more than one night, so we ordered this one . watts (still slow, but sufficient). For us). He got here in about 48 hours. Quick and easy set up (I just set it up on deck and threaded the cable through the small hole in the gangway. It's easy for us to move as needed when under sail) and our battery is now ready to go. go when we. Love the idea of letting the sun do all the work and am also switching to LEDs for navigation and 2 sleep lights as this will reduce our energy needs to near zero. We use a cooler and butane stove top, only use 12 volt outlets for a few low wattage appliances, we have a manual start outboard etc so we don't have the electrical requirements of many boaters. No mess. No trouble. So far, so good!

Pros
  • Semi-Flex DOES NOT FLEX, CAUTION that flexing modules can damage fragile solar cells.
Cons
