Review on πŸ’» Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Clip-On Keyboard Cover for iPad mini 3/mini 2/mini, Silver: Sleek and Functional iPad Accessory by Amanda Kathol

Magnetic lock does not work

Moderate success. The magnet that's supposed to keep the keyboard closed on the front of the iPad isn't strong enough to do the job. The keyboard just won't stay in place when closed, requiring it to fit snugly in transit, as if the two pieces were just bumping together. I don't expect to be able to pick up the iPad by the key covers (vice versa), but I expected them to at least stay closed when carrying them. The rest of the keyboard is pretty good. The keys are necessarily tight, but at least as easy to use as any other iPad mini keyboard. Battery life is excellent and pairing works as advertised. The iPad slot/hinge is amazing and really makes this case stand out. However, there are lighter Bluetooth keyboards out there (Logitech themselves make a very good one like this) and since this keyboard (physically) connects and holds so poorly, that's no reason to settle for a smaller keyboard or a premium one.
