These shorts offer a very good balance between riding comfort and walking comfort. They went as far as possible with padding without feeling like wearing a diaper while running. The main thing they got right was the stitching around the inner lining. Some of the other shorts I tried on had to be returned due to a large crotch hem that literally cut through my inner thighs. They have a seam that fits completely inside the shorts so the lip doesn't relatively intrude on you. If you are on the limit of a size, order a smaller one. I was right on the border between M and L and L was too big. M is perfect and just the right compression. I've done a few running and cycling sessions at 70.3 and they were quite comfortable on both occasions. I'm going to make some test bricks this week and then try them out at my next race. I have a few pairs and if all goes well at this race I will be ordering another pair.
