I'm trying to use this to add a second display to my laptop which only has an HDMI port. He connects the second monitor, but poorly. When plugged in, the resolution is much lower than it should be and for some reason steals the sound. A little fiddling can fix these issues, but only for the USB port currently in use (these issues reappear after plugging into a different USB port). It would be annoying but bearable. What is unacceptable is that this also causes my mouse to lag. I couldn't figure out the exact reason for this and the only solution I could find is to disable the adapter. I tried connecting two different mice just to make sure it wasn't the mouse itself. tldr; Technically works, but causes a lot of weird little bugs. The bad news is that I would rather lose screen real estate than use this adapter.
