It isn't mind-blowingly amazing, but it does what I need and expect it to do. Picked this because it was a fairly inexpensive option for running belts. I gave it 4 stars because the pouch itself can't hold too many things at once, but if you only have a phone and one or two more small, flat items its fine. I have noticed, it tends to stay in place better when I wear a cotton shirt as apposed to an athletic fabric. I definitely have to tighten the belt to stop it from bouncing all over when I wear anything moisture-wicking. Not a big deal for me because I wear cotton more often anyway, but something to consider if you prefer athletic shirts.
