not exactly petite although it was listed on the petite page. Fits perfectly on top for 12 miniatures. Embarrassingly awful in underpants as the leg openings are 24" in diameter compared to my regular suits where the high cut opening is only 21". The torso length (from top of bra to crotch) in this suit is 24 inches compared to 21 1/2 inches in my other suit. Big difference and big problem. I wore the suit to a water class once and was embarrassed to even get out of the water after class because the wetsuit was much more naughty than when I tried it dry at home. I wouldn't recommend this suit to anyone who is 5'2" or smaller. Too bad I didn't have the option to shorten the crotch like one person did. I hate that I was paying money for an actually very good one gave out a suit.
