Well I really liked these sandals. I usually buy a size down unless it's a size 10.5 which I wear in most boots. I ordered them a size 11 (after reading some reviews) but they were too big for my water treading purposes so they came back with another order for a 10 (down a 10.5). If you wear thick wool socks with sandals, that's fine (sometimes in winter). These camel crowns are well built and have the added benefit of a one-piece sole with a sockliner upper that looks molded but may have been glued on. My last pair of camel crowns with bumper model, these things were hardcore, lasted me 2 years and still hung there but I had to reglue the bilaminate soles. If they make that thicker closed toe sole buy 4 pairs or so!
