Really great tool except for the price
I bought this for my son to shrink the heat shrink tubing he uses for his electronics project and it works very well. It also works well when used to soften plastic parts. The tool heats up quickly, is very well made and gets quite hot. We tried using it to solder SMD parts, it didn't work either, you need a nozzle that focuses heat.
