I will never buy a cartridge gun again!
As a previous user of cheap caulking guns from the big department stores, I can honestly say that caulking guns are second to none! At first I was sure I wanted to spend $24 on a caulking gun, but I'm so glad I did - gone were my aching hands from many feet clutching cheap caulking guns. Once you master it, you'll save half your time - literally. I haven't used a pen cutter, but I don't prefer it. The grip is very ergonomic and the mechanical advantage of the trigger is great. Go and buy it, you won't regret it.
