These scissors are a great addition to my wardrobe. It comes in a pretty packaging with a red pull tab to keep the scissors in place. You can easily give it as a gift and it even looks stylish in the box. When you unpack it, it deserves immediate attention. The blade is titanium, grayish brownish purple. It's hard to pinpoint the exact color as it shimmers in the light, but it's definitely eye-catching and whimsical. The 8 inch length is great for cutting a variety of materials. My scissors were black with a purple bulge in the middle which was very conservative, beautiful and stylish. I compared these scissors to other scissors and they fit my hand perfectly. holds 3 fingers (middle, ring and little finger) with pointing index finger.
