I needed a 4 cup measuring cup that would pour without spilling or making a mess like my Corning glass. This one works. I have been using this company's products for many years and always get good service from them. It's a bit heavier than my Corning 4 cup, but that seems to be because it's well made and strong. I like that they have extra material where the handle attaches to the mug. Time will tell, but it looks like it's built to last. For us, we're just fed up with our Corning. The design of the spout was just wrong. You had to be very careful and only water at the right (slow) speed or they would just splash. However, this model pours very well at all speeds and leaves no mess. That's all I wanted! Yes I would buy again.
